Just wanted to let everyone know that we are a Finalist in the Macedon Ranges Busines Excellence Awards for our wonderful Woodend Teddy Bear Show under the Tourism Event catagory. The awards night is June 2nd so i will keep you all informed.

Just looking in ...I'm so grateful to Kerri and all who organise the Woodend Show...has been my best one day show this year!! not just financially but all round best! It's not just about the money ,It's about the coming together ,the feeling of equality,the sharing of our given gifts and passion,the abundance of love and friendships,it's the little things,and the support of a caring community....Thank You. Joy, Good Health and Heavenly Blessings to all XX Neville and I look forward to seeing you next year....(((BEAR HUGS)))....(((*__*)))...

Nearly a few weeks since the show and just managed to post a comment, always so busy with Christmas on the way and lots to do.
Just wanted to thank you all for the chance to enter the competition and for the safe return of my 3 travellers, bringing home with them 2 blue and one red ribbon. Always good to read through the critique sheets, a great way to step up a bit.
As I wasn't able to get to Woodend this year I would love to see photos of the category winners and peoples choice award at some time if possible. (Maybe they will be in Bear Creations soon)
It really looked a great day from all the photo's, congratulations to all involved.

Well, I am home again and finally got the bears, Annies and gollies unpacked from the suitcase. Gladly there were quite a few less than made the trip over!
It was a lovely show (shame about the weather - I'm sure Kerri or Chris can fix that for next year - they seem to be able to do just about everything else!)
It was great to catch up with a lot of familiar faces and to meet new collectors and artists.
The dinner was fabulous as always and the wine wasn't too bad either.
Woodend is a great place to visit and we even managed to get to Kyneton where I stumbled onto a patchwork shop - what a blissful weekend!
Looking forward to next year!!!!

What a nice place to visit. I enjoy looking at all the precious teddies and dolls...all with so much personality. You can tell these bears are crafted with lots of talent and love.
The shows look like a busy place and get a lot of attention. Thanks for letting me look!

We know how many hours that go into the planning and administering a show of this caliber and we just wanted to thank you for all your hard work at producing another quality show.
The generosity of Helen Batchelor and Julie Quon for donating their lovely bears and that of all those who donated prizes for the raffle is heartwarming...but then they are all a pretty wonderful bunch!
We are looking forward to next year and to celebrating Woodend Teddy Bear Show's 5th birthday!

Hi,
Only 9 more sleeps until the Show. I can't wait to catch up with everyone and see all the new bears and friends. Woodend is very cold at the moment so i suggest you dress warm. Our first year of the show we actually had a little snow. Thank goodness the hall is heated. Sue has started to receive some lovely bears for the competition and it is always exciting on Sunday morning to see them all on show showing off their ribbons as they look over the whole show. Helen Batchelor of Hug O Bears has once again donated a beautiful pair of bears for the childrens prize of the competition. We again have 3 artists coming from New Zealand, and some from Queensland, NSW, SA, Tasmania, and of course Victoria. Hope to see you their or hear from you in the guestbook.

Hi - Not long till I pack all the bears, Annies and gollies into the suitcase for our trip to Woodend. I'm really looking forward to seeing old and new faces and having a chat! I like a chat! I can almost smell the aroma of our special dinner drifting around. I am sure that will be a fun night as usual. Thank you so much Kerri for your tireless efforts in putting the show together.
